Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi starrer ‘Selfiee’ trailer is out; film to release on Feb 24

On Sunday, the makers of Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi starrer ‘Selfiee’ released the much-awaited trailer of the film on social media. Directed by Raj Mehta, the film also stars Nushrratt Bharuccha and Diana Penty in lead roles.

Akshay Kumar also shared the trailer of his film on Twitter and wrote, “Iss kahaani ka villain toh pata nahi par hero #Selfiee hai! Watch #SelfieeTrailer now. #Selfiee releasing only in cinemas on 24th Feb (sic).”

Selfiee trailer introduces us to Bollywood superstar Vijay Kumar (Akshay). Emraan plays the role of an officer, Om Prakash Agarwal, who is an ardent fan of Vijay. He wants to take a selfie with their ‘hero’ with his son, which is his biggest dream. However, the film begins a clash over the driving license between Akshay and Emraan Hashmi.

‘Selfiee’ is the official Hindi remake of the Malayalam film ‘Driving License’, which starred Prithviraj and Suraj Venjaramoodu in lead roles.

The film is co-produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, Akshay Kumar’s Cape of Good Films, and Sukumaran’s Prithviraj Productions and Magic Frames. Film ‘Selfiee’ is set to release in theatres on February 24, 2023.
