Taapsee Pannu starrer Shabaash Mithu trailer out, film to release on July 15

After a long wait, today (June 20) the makers of Taapsee Pannu’s ‘Shabaash Mithu’ have finally dropped the trailer of the film. In this film, Taapsee is seen playing the role of Mithali Raj, former captain of the Indian women’s cricket team. The trailer of the film is quite spectacular, in which Mithali’s journey from childhood to becoming a cricketer has been shown. Based on the life of Mithali Raj, this film is an inspiration in itself. The trailer of the film is very emotional.

Taapsee has shared the official trailer of ‘Shabaash Mithu’ on her Twitter handle and wrote, “You know the name, now get ready to see the story behind what makes Mithali a legend. Mithali Raj, who is known for her record-breaking 23-year-long career in international cricket, made over 10000 runs in ODI. The film follows her journey to becoming a legendary cricketer and an inspiration to billions of girls and women across the world. The film is a tribute to the recently retired icon.

Directed by Srijit Mukherji and produced by Viacom18 Studios, ‘Shabaash Mithu’ will hit theatres on 15 July, 2022.
