Disha Patani, Raashii Khanna to star opposite Sidharth Malhotra’s action film ‘Yodha’

Karan Johar had recently announced his new film, ‘Yodha’, the first film of the action franchise backed by Dharma Productions. While Sidharth Malhotra was earlier roped in for the lead role, today, December 18, the names of his lead actresses have been announced too. They are Disha Patani and Raashii Khanna.

The film will be directed by Sagar Ambre and Pushkar Ojha. Sharing Yodha’s first look earlier, the makers announced that the film will hit the theatres on November 11, 2022.

The official Twitter handle of Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions has confirmed that.

“Bringing her exquisite charm and innocence to the screens, welcoming Raashii Khanna to the #Yodha family! Ready for take off, landing to your hearts on 11th November, 2022, wrote Dharma Production (sic).”

While sharing the confirmation about Disha, Dharma Productions wrote, “Here to cause much turbulence in many hearts – Disha Patani joins the #Yodha family! Landing in theatres near you on 11th November, 2022 (sic).”

Disha Patani was last seen in Prabhudheva’s directorial venture titled Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai. The film starred Salman Khan in the lead role. Disha has Ekta Kapoor’s KTina in the pipeline. The actress will also be seen in Mohit Suri’s ‘Ek Villain 2’. The film’s cast also stars Tara Sutaria, Arjun Kapoor, and John Abraham. On the other hand, Raashii Khanna, she is a well-known actress who has predominately worked in Tamil and Telegu cinema, and left a lasting impression in films like ‘Bhramam,’ ‘World Famous Lover,’ and ‘Rang De’.

The film ‘Yodha’ is slated to release in cinemas on November 11, 2022.
