Actor Simbu hospitalized in Chennai due to viral infection
Actor Silambarasan AKA Simbu has been admitted to a private hospital in Chennai on December 11. Reportedly, the actor had a severe viral infection because of which he had to be rushed to a hospital. Also, reports suggest that he is not infected by Covid-19. For the past few weeks, Simbu has been busy shooting for his upcoming film, Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu.

Directed by Gautham Menon, the film is tipped to be an action thriller. AR Rahman has composed the music for the film which stars Silambarasan in a different role as Muthu.
Meanwhile, apart from Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu, the actor also has another film with director Gautham Menon and producer Ishari Ganesh. After wrapping up Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu, Simbu will move on to his upcoming film, Pathu Thala.
