Shahid Kapoor to play paratrooper in his new film Bull, shooting starts in 2022
Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor is set to star in an action film titled ‘Bull’, the makers announced on Thursday.
The film will star Shahid in the lead as a paratrooper on the battlefield. Bhushan Kumar of T-Series has collaborated with producers Amar Butala and Garima Mehta to make this film Bull.
The film will be directed by Aditya Nimbalkar and it will go on floors in 2022. Bull’s story and screenplay will be created by Aseem Arrora and Parveez Shaikh.

Talking about it in a statement, Shahid Kapoor expressed his excitement to be a part of the ambitious project. He said, “BULL is a full-blown action film inspired by real events from the life of Brigadier Bulsara. It is a privilege to play a paratrooper who leads his boys through a historic and selfless mission that has now become iconic for its precision and bravado. The opportunity to play a paratrooper is exhilarating and truly an honor.”
Talking about the film, Bhushan Kumar, Managing Director, T Series, said, “I am happy to collaborate with Shahid again after the fantastic performance of Kabir Singh at the box office. This film also marks the beginning of my association with Amar Butala and Garima Mehta and we hope great cinema emerges from our hard work.”
It is an action film set in the 1980s, Bull is inspired by events from the life of Brigadier Bulsara, who led Operation Cactus in 1988 in the Maldives.
