3.5 Magnitude Earthquake Hits Nagaland’s Longleng District
On Tuesday morning, a mild earthquake of 3.5 magnitudes hit Nagaland’s Longleng district, but no casualties were reported.
According to the National Center for Seismology (NCS), the moderate earthquake hit around 8:32 am. Earlier on July 7, Nagaland’s sibling state Arunachal Pradesh’s Tawang was jolted by a 3.4 magnitude earthquake.
Besides that, at the same time, the NCS also reported a 6.1 magnitude earthquake near 1102 km Southeast of Singapore at 04:24 IST today.
