22 more test coronavirus positive, J&K total rises to 300

Srinagar, April 15 (IANS) Twenty-two people more tested positive on Wednesday in J&K, taking the total number of Covid-19 patients to 300 in the Union Territory.

“22 new cases reported from J&K today. Jammu-4 Kashmir-18. All contacts of positive cases. Total number of positive cases now 300 Jammu-54 and Kashmir-246. Daily bulletin follows-will indicate further details. @diprjk,” government spokesman Rohit Kansal said in a tweet,

Of those testing positive on Wednesday, 18 belong to Kashmir division while 4 belong to Jammu division.

Out of the total 300 Covid-19 patients in J&K, 34 have so far recovered completely while four have died.

The number of active cases in J&K is now 262 out of whom 52 are in Jammu division while 210 are in Kashmir division.

Of the 18 who tested positive in the Valley, 8 are from Guzhama village of Ganderbal district where the total number of Covid-19 patients is now 13.
