2.7 magnitude earthquake hits Karbi Anglong district in Assam

An earthquake measuring 2.7 hit Assam’s Karbi Anglong district on Wednesday afternoon, the India Meteorological Department said.

It occurred at 2.26 pm (IST) and the epicenter of the quake at latitude 26.34 N and longitude 93.15 E at a depth of 35 km.

However, until now there is no casualties were reported.
