Reliance Jio silently discontinues most of the prepaid plans with Free Disney+ Hotstar

Reliance Jio is among the telecom operators that have offered a number of prepaid plans along with the free Disney+ Hotstar for users. Now, Jio has silently discontinued a majority of its Disney+ Hotstar plans in India.

Reliance Jio had discontinued more than 10 Disney+ Hotstar prepaid plans.

The Rs 333, the Rs 499, the Rs 583, the Rs 601, the Rs 783, the Rs 799, the Rs 1,066, the Rs 2,999, and the Rs 3,119 plans no longer exist on Jio’s website.

Plus, the data add-on plans costing Rs 151, Rs 555, and Rs 659 is can’t be found listed on the website.

While there’s no word on why Jio has suddenly removed other Disney+ Hotstar prepaid plans, we think the company could possibly be adding new ones given that T20 World Cup is expected in a few days from now.

As of now, there are only two mobile plans that offer Hotstar. The first one is Rs 1,499 plan, which is valid for 84 days and offers 2GB data per day, unlimited calls, and 100 SMS/day with access to apps like Disney+ Hotstar, JioTV, JioCinema, JioSecurity, and JioCloud. The other plan costs Rs 4,199 per year and offers 3GB of data per day along with all the other benefits of the Rs 1,499 pack, including Disney+ Hotstar premium.
