iQOO 7 series to launch in India this month, confirms company

Vivo’s sub-brand iQOO is all set to launch its flagship iQOO 7 series of smartphones in India. iQOO took to Twitter to make the announcement. The company has shared a small video on Twitter and at the end of the video, it confirms that the iQOO 7 series smartphones will launch in India this month. However, the exact date for the launch has not been shared yet.

The company has already launched the iQOO 7 smartphone in China recently. This is the first smartphone of the company to come with 120W fast charging support. It is possible that the company might launch the same version in India as well.

Recently, the company also confirms that it will launch the BMW M Motorsport Edition of the smartphone in India, which will be called iQOO 7 Legend.

iQOO 7 specifications (Chinese variant):

The iQOO 7 features a 6.62-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 20:9 aspect ratio, and a 91.4 percent screen-to-body ratio. It is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 888 SoC coupled with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM. The phone runs on Android 11 with OriginOS for iQOO on top.

Coming to photography, the iQOO 7 comes with a triple rear camera setup that includes a 48-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.79 lens, a 13-megapixel secondary sensor with an ultra-wide-angle f/2.2 lens, and a 13-megapixel portrait sensor with an f/2.46 lens. At the front, there is a 16-megapixel sensor with an f/2.0 lens for selfies and video calls.

In terms of battery, the phone is fuelled by a massive 4,000mAh battery that supports 120W fast charging. Connectivity options on the iQOO 7 include 5G, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. The phone also has an in-display fingerprint sensor.
