Realme to launch its first 5G Smartphone in 2019
Oppo The Parent Company Of Realme Has Already Launched Their First 5G Smartphone In April.
Oppo sub-brand Realme’s Indian CEO announced they would be among the first companies to launch first 5G smartphones to India in 2019.
It is not clear yet from Realme or the India CEO, whether Realme will launch new 5G enable smartphone or will modify their any existing smartphone with the 5G technology.
Madhav Sheth tweeted late on Thursday on his twitter handle, “#5GisReal… Straight out of meeting room with Sky Li. Glad to share with you our latest R&D updates: #realme will be among the first brands to bring 5G products globally this year. And we are determined to bring the best of technology to India as early as possible,”. This was the tweet from Sheth comes after a meeting with Sky Li. He is the former VP of Oppo who founded Realme as a separate smartphone brand from Oppo.

Now in India still it’s not clear when the 5G networks will be ready. Telecom operators from all over the globe are trying hard to prepare the new technology fast.
For now, two smartphones, Samsung’s Galaxy S10 5G, and LG V50 ThinQ 5G. These are the two devices to go on sale with 5G support. OnePlus 7 Pro 5G and Huawei Mate 20X 5G are other devices from China. They are available with 5G support too. It is still not clear from the Government of India about 5G spectrum auction. After clearing these Realme’s 5G handsets would be available in India.
