Vijay Sethupathi to play the villain in Shah Rukh Khan and Atlee’s Jawan

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Jawan’ is one of the most awaited films in Indian cinema for 2023. For ‘Jawan’, SRK has collaborated with director Atlee and superstar Nayanthara for the first time. While most of the details are under wraps, some reports are doing the rounds that the role of the antagonist in the film has been bagged by Vijay Sethupathi.

According to reports in several publications, the makers of the film had initially approached Baahubali fame Rana Daggubati but he couldn’t be a part of the film due to his busy schedule.

Meanwhile, the Film Entertainment Tracker, Kaushik LM has tweeted to confirm it.

“Confirmed! #Makkalselvan #VijaySethupathi to act in #KingKhan’s #Jawan #Atlee #SRK,” he captioned the post.

Vijay Sethupathi was last seen in Kamal Haasan starrer ‘Vikram’. Moreover, it is also being reported that the actor has been roped in to play the villain in Allu Arjun’s Pushpa: The Rule.

‘Jawan’ is touted to be an action entertainer written and directed by Atlee. The film will hit the theatres on June 2, 2023, in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.
