Vidya Balan begins shooting for Anu Menon’s Neeyat in the UK

Bollywood actress Vidya Balan’s next movie, a suspense thriller titled ‘Neeyat’, went on floors in the U.K. on Tuesday.

The film, an Amazon Prime Video co-production with Abundantia Entertainment, will see Vidya reuniting with her ‘Shakuntala Devi’ director Anu Menon.

Vidya has shared a picture from the sets of ‘Neeyat’ with Anu and Vikram Malhotra.

Sharing a picture with Anu and Vikram Malhotra on Twitter, Vidya Balan wrote, “Excited to begin shooting one of the most engaging scripts I have read in the recent times, with some of my favourite people – @anumenon1805 & @vikramix All I can say is expect the unexpected #Neeyat, Filming Begins (sic).”

As per the report, Vidya Balan will be seen playing the role of detective Mira Rao in this murder mystery. ‘Neeyat’ also stars Ram Kapoor, Rahul Bose, Mita Vasisht, Neeraj Kabi, Shahana Goswami, Dipannita Sharma, Amrita Puri, Shashank Arora, Prajakta Koli, and Danish Razvi, among others.
