Suriya completes the first schedule of Bala’s film, to resume the next shoot in June

Actor Suriya has completed the first schedule for director Bala’s next film in Kanniyakumari which is tentatively titled Suriya 41. Co-producer of the film, Rajsekar Pandian has said that the shoot is progressing smoothly and efficiently. The actor and team have wrapped up the first schedule in Kanniyakumari for almost 34 days. The second schedule will commence in June for 15 days after receiving an extensive set.

The official Twitter handle of the film production house, 2D Entertainment has announced the same and wrote, “After the successful completion of the 1st schedule of 34 days in Kanyakumari, #Suriya41 is ready for the next stage! The next schedule of 15 days is all set to start in Goa in June after extensive set work (sic).”

According to reports, Krithi Shetty has been roped in as the female lead of the film.

The untitled film will be bankrolled by Suriya’s 2D Entertainment. The film’s music will be taken care of by GV Prakash Kumar and cinematographer Balasubramaniam will crank the camera. The filmmakers are yet to reveal the details of the remaining cast and crew.

Menawhile, Suriya was last seen in ‘Etharkkum Thunindhavan’, which was written and directed by Pandiraj.
