Oppo A56 5G launch in China with MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC: Check Price and Specifications

Oppo has launched a new A-series phone called Oppo A56 5G in the Chinese market. The mid-range handset has a 6.5-inch HD+ display with a waterdrop-style notch at the front. The key highlighted features of Oppo A56 5G has MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC, a large 5,000mAh battery, and a dual rear camera.

Oppo A56 5G specifications and features:

The phone features a 6.5-inch HD+ (720×1,600 pixels) with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The display has a 60Hz refresh rate and 120Hz touch sampling rate. It also features a typical brightness of 480 nits and a pixel density of 269 ppi. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 700 octa-core SoC, paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

Coming to the camera section, the Oppo A56 5G has a dual rear camera setup that includes a 13-megapixel primary sensor, and a 2-megapixel portrait lens. For selfies and video chats, the phone carries an 8-megapixel selfie camera sensor at the front.

In terms of battery, the phone is fueled by a decent 5,000mAh battery. For biometric authentication, there is also has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. It also supports Face Unlock. In terms of connectivity, the smartphone supports, 5G including 4G LTE, USB Type-C port, Bluetooth v5.1, Wi-Fi 5, 3.5mm audio jack, GPS, and more.

Oppo A56 5G price and availability:

The new Oppo A56 5G is priced in China at CNY 1,599 (approx Rs. 18,800) for the lone 6GB + 128GB storage option. The phone comes in three color options – Cloud Smoke Blue, Soft Fog Black, and Wind Chime Purple. Oppo A56 5G is currently up for pre-orders in China. However, the subject of international pricing and availability is yet to be detailed.
