The warranty extension announcement has made through a post on the OnePlus Community forum.

The announcement comes amidst the ongoing COVID-19 crisis in the country. OnePlus also extended the warranty on its devices last year owing to a similar situation regarding COVID-19. Many companies have also announced the extension of the warranty such as Realme, Vivo, Oppo, Xiaomi, and Poco.

Along with the extension of warranty, the company also confirmed that there will be a delay in delivery for recent product orders. “Due to the recent developments beyond our control, there will be a delay in delivery for recent product orders to certain locations and we are unable to fulfill the order, at present. Unfortunately, we may not be able to predict the delivery of your order, however, we will ship the

The company also said that its service center operations are temporarily halted in compliance with government regulations until further notice. It will resume after-sales operations as soon as possible once the situation eases.
