Instagram is down for thousands of users in various parts of the globe; check the details
Instagram users across different parts of the world apparently faced disruption in the photo-sharing app services on Thursday night. Netizens were not able to log in, were unable to load feed and send messages, according to Downdetector.
As per reports, the Instagram outage began around 11:45 AM ET and is greatly impacting users in the US, South America, Asia, and Europe.
Nearly 19,000 users were having trouble accessing the social network, according to Downdetector, which tracks outages by collating status reports from a number of sources including user-submitted errors on its platform.
The Twitter handle of Instagram confirmed the issue and apologized for the inconvenience. “We’re aware that some people are having trouble accessing Instagram. We’re working to get things back to normal as quickly as possible. Sorry for any inconvenience, and hang tight! #instagramdown,” read the tweet.
