Hyundai Elantra With BS-VI Diesel Engine Launched In India

Hyundai Motors India has launched the Hyundai Elantra in India with a new BSVI diesel engine. The new Elantra model will be available at Rs.18.7 lakh.

The new BS-VI 1.5-liter diesel in the Elantra comes mated with six-speed automatic and manual transmission options, Hyundai Motor India Ltd (HMIL) said in a statement.

HMIL MD and CEO SS Kim said, “We are enhancing customer delight on Elantra with the addition of fun to drive and powerful 1.5 l U2 CRDi diesel BS-VI powertrain.”

The brand new Hyundai Elantra conveys a Sportier, Grander, and irresistible design language. It has retained the Fluidic Sculpture 2.0 design. The entrance of the car showcases Dominant Hexagonal Entrance Grille while the aspect profile displays a cast and whole quantity wheel arch and powerful persona line.

Hyundai Elantra also offers customers First-in-Segment features such as Fully Connected Sedan with Hyundai BlueLink, Wireless Phone Charger, Dynamic LED Quad Projector Headlamps with LED DRLs, Entrance Ventilated Seats, and Chrome Door Handles with Pocket Light.

As part of safety features, the vehicle has driver and passenger airbag, side and curtain airbag, anti-lock braking system (ABS) with EBD parking assist reverse parking senor.

The new Elantra BS-VI diesel comes with two variants while the SX manual comes in at Rs 18.70 lakh, and the SX(O) automatic costs at Rs 20.65 lakh, in (ex-showroom Delhi).
