Google Will Be Focusing On Chrome OS Laptops And Will Continue To Support Pixel Slate.
According to Computer World, Google was killing their two underdevelopment tablets and will focus on traditional laptop devices like the Pixelbook.
Google Will now focus on it’s Chrome OS laptops instead of developing tablets. Google’s Rick Osterloh confirmed about that news on the tweeter that, Google’s hardware team will solely focus on making laptops. But there will be no effect on pixel phones and other Google products. ComputerWorld first reported on Thursday that Google has decided to stop making tablets and will focus on the laptops. The reports says, Google was developing two small size tablets, but they abandoned the development of the project later decided to focus on the laptops.

A Google spokesperson confirmed that” JR Raphael of ComputerWorld wrote. “The news was revealed at an internal company meeting on Wednesday, and Google is currently working to reassign employees who were focused on the abandoned projects onto other areas. Many of them, I’m told, have already shifted over to the laptop side of that same self-made hardware division.”
