Dhanush’s Vaathi to release in theatres on this date, see the new poster here
Today, the makers of Dhanush’s Telugu-Tamil bilingual, Vaathi (Tamil) and Sir (Telugu) have announced the release date of the film along with a new poster. Directed by Venky Atluri, the film is slated to hit the theatres on December 2. Samyuktha Menon will be seen as the female lead in this film that has Samuthirakani playing the key antagonist.
On September 19, Sithara Entertainments, the production house of Vaathi, announced the release date of the film along with a special poster. Sharing the poster, the production house wrote, “Mark the Date. Our #Vaathi / #SIR is getting ready to take classes from 2nd Dec 2022! (sic).”

In the poster, Dhanush is seen showing the release date of the movie in a classroom, at the top of the blackboard. In the film, Dhanush plays the role of an Intermediate college lecturer.
