Arjun Bijlani and Shraddha Arya to be part of Karan Johar’s ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’

Filmmaker Karan Johar has added television stars Arjun Bijlani and Shraddha Arya to the cast of his upcoming movie ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani'.

On Friday, both Arjun and Shraddha took to their social media to thank Karan Johar for giving them opportunities to feature in his film. Arjun Bijlani shared the handwritten note and a humongous gift that he received from the director alongside a selfie with him.

Arjun Bijlani took to Instagram and shared a photo with Karan Johar on his story. In the note, Karan thanked Bijlani for doing Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. “Dearest Arjun, thank you so much for doing my film. Welcome to Dharma. I look forward to working with you in the future,” Karan's note read.

Reacting to it, Arjun wrote, “Finally had the opportunity to shoot with the one and only @karanjohar sir. I sincerely appreciate your love, warmth and guidance. Glad could be a part of this magical film (sic).”

Similarly, Kundali Bhagya actress Shraddha Arya has joined the star cast of Karan's next directorial. The filmmaker also sent a handwritten note to the actress. “Dearest Shradha, Welcome to the Dharma family. All my love, Karan,” it read.

Meanwhile, Shraddha Arya shared a happy photo alongside Johar from the sets of Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. In the picture, while Shraddha is seen donning a body-hugging beige dress, on the other hand, Karan Johar keeps it casual in a black printed hoodie and matching sweat pants. Both Shraddha and Johar share a contagious smile as the camera captures them in a series of photos.

‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani' features Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh essaying the lead roles. Directed by Karan Johar, the film also stars Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, and Shabana Azmi. The film is scheduled for release on February 10, 2023.
