Amitabh Bachchan gives voice-over for Prabhas and Pooja Hegde starrer Radhe Shyam

The makers of ‘Radhe Shyam’ announced that megastar Amitabh Bachchan has given his voice on Prabhas and Pooja Hegde’s upcoming film.

The news was confirmed by the movie’s official Twitter handle on Tuesday. Sharing a still from Amitabh’s iconic 1975 film Deewar, the makers thanked Amitabh for lending his voice. “Thank you Shahenshah @SrBachchan for the voiceover of #RadheShyam,” the tweet read.

‘Radhe Shyam’ is set in Europe in the 1970s with Prabhas essaying the role of a palmist while Pooja Hegde will play the role of doctor Prerana. The film also stars Bhagyashree, Krishnam Raju, Jagapathi Babu, Sachin Khedekar, Priyadarshi, and Murli Sharma in supporting roles.

The film was previously slated to release on January 14, but the team had to postpone the release due to the third wave of the Covid-19 pandemic. Now, the film will release on March 11.

‘Radhe Shyam’ is helmed by Radha Krishna Kumar. The film is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Vamsi, and Pramod, and it is backed by UV Creations and Gulshan Kumar T-Series Films.
