Akshay Kumar shares hilarious video of Huma Qureshi performing Bhangra, calls her ‘total nutcase’

Akshay Kumar is awaiting the release of his highly anticipated film ‘BellBottom’ which is slated to hit the screens on August 19. Ahead of the film’s release, Akshay took to social media to share a fun video featuring Huma Qureshi, where he made gestures to show she is crazy. ‘Bellbottom’ features Huma Qureshi, Lara Dutta, and Vaani Kapoor in key roles.

On Thursday (August 12), Akshay shared a video of Huma Qureshi performing Bhangra on the song ‘Ho Jayegi Balle Balle’. In the video, Huma is dressed in a white t-shirt and can be seen cheerfully dancing as Akshay appears in the background and calls her mad through sign language.

While sharing the hilarious video Akshay wrote, “A total nutcase, a darling at heart and a phenomenal actor! Even though @humasqureshi’s filmography is shorter than mine, her acting prowess is much higher. Watch out for her power-packed performance in #BellBottom (sic).”

Huma Qureshi, who has previously worked with Akshay in Jolly LLB 2, complimented him in the comments section of his post. She wrote, “Sirrrrr there is no one like you !!! You are pure heart can’t wait for the world to see our film (sic).”

Bell Bottom is directed by Ranjit M Tewari. Set in the 80s, the film is based on the plane hijacks that took India by storm back then. Akshay plays a RAW agent in the film, while Vaani Kapoor plays his wife. Lara Dutta essays the role of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. Huma Qureshi will also be seen in a pivotal role in Bell Bottom.
