Ajay Devgn to direct ‘Bhola’ the Hindi remake of the Tamil movie Kaithi

After directing ‘U Me Aur Hum’, ‘Shivaay’, and ‘Runway 34’, now Ajay Devgn is all set to direct the action thriller, ‘Bholaa’. The film also stars Ajay along with Tabu and is going to be the actor’s fourth directorial venture.

Taking to his official Twitter handle, Ajay Devgn shared a pic from the sets and wrote, “It’s time to say ACTION again! Bholaa releasing on March 30th, 2023 (sic).”

As per the report, ‘Bholaa’ is the Hindi remake of 2019’s Tamil hit ‘Kaithi’. The film is written-directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. The film revolves around a prisoner, played by Karthi, who comes to the aid of the police when they are attacked by a gang of smugglers. In exchange, the police help him reunite with his daughter. The film was headlined by Karthi alongside Narain and Dheena. It is produced by S. R. Prakashbabu and S. R. Prabhu under the banner Dream Warrior Pictures and co-produced by Tiruppur Vivek under the banner Vivekananda Pictures.

‘Bholaa’ is produced by Ajay Devgn Ffilms, T-Series Films, Reliance Entertainment, and Dream Warrior Pictures. The film is slated to hit the big screen on March 30, 2023.
