Adivi Sesh’s Major postponed again due to Covid Pandemic

Due to the unprecedented times that we are living in, the makers of Adivi Sesh-starrer ‘Major’ have decided to postpone the film’s release yet again. The movie was scheduled to hit the big screens on February 11, 2022.

The makers have released an official statement announcing the same.

“Given the current situation and restrictions in various parts of the country, the release of Major stands postponed. Major is a film made for India and we will release it only when the situation improves across the country. Till then, please take care of yourself and stay safe,” reads the official statement.

‘Major’ is a passionate project for Adivi Sesh. The Sashi Karan Tikka directorial is an untold story of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan. The film aims to tell the tale of a hero, who lost his life-fighting terrorists during the 2008 Mumbai terror (26/11) attacks.

The film has been shot simultaneously in Telugu and Hindi. It will also be dubbed in other south Indian languages. Sony Pictures Films India, GMB Entertainment, and A+S Movies have jointly bankrolled ‘Major’.
