Reliance Jio launches ‘Emergency Data Loan’ facility

Telecom giant Reliance Jio has launched an ‘Emergency Data Loan’ facility for its users. According to Jio, through this facility, users who have run out of data and cannot recharge immediately can get access to instant data and pay for it later, similar to taking a loan from a bank. Reliance Jio’s ‘Emergency Data Loan’ facility offers a simple solution to users in need of more data. It ensures Jio users continue to experience seamless high-speed data.

Under the ‘Emergency Data Loan’ facility, Reliance Jio will allow its prepaid users to borrow up to 5 Emergency Data Loan packs of 1GB high-speed data each. The 1GB data pack costs Rs 11.

How many times can you avail of the Jio ‘Emergency Data Loan offer’?

You can avail up to 5 ‘Emergency Data Loan’ packs (worth ₹11/per pack) without paying instantly. The minimum loan amount is ₹11 (or 1 pack) and the maximum loan amount is ₹55 (or 5 packs).

How can you apply for the Jio ‘Emergency Data Loan offer’?

  • You need to follow the below steps to get an Emergency Data Loan pack:
  • Open MyJio App and go to ‘menu’ on the top left of the page.
  • Select ‘Emergency Data Loan’ under mobile services.
  • Click ‘Proceed’ on the Emergency Data Loan banner.
  • Select the ‘Get emergency data’ option.
  • Click ‘Activate now’ to get the emergency loan benefit.
  • Emergency data Loan benefit is activated.
