Xiaomi-backed Yi technology has launched a new device in India called the Yi Smart Dash Camera. The Yi Dash Camera is available on Amazon At Rs. 5,200.
The new Yi Smart Dash Camera can be attached to the widescreen of the car, and it will record while you drive around. The Yi technology has been already taken a significant market in India with their 4K action camera and Yi Home Security Camera.
The Yi Dash Camera has a 165-degree field-of-view, and it is capable of recording video at 1080p 60fps and 1080p 30fps. The Yi Smart Dash Camera sports a 2.7-inch 16:9 full HD screen. Besides that, it also has a microSD card slot which can stores all the recorded footage directly onto the card. There is Wi-Fi support onboard as well as, it can allow users to stream of live video from the dash camera.
It comes with ‘Advanced Driver Assistant System’ that gives real-time warnings to drivers and the lane departure warnings alerts them when they are moving out of the lane. It also has a collision warning system, which can warn the drivers of a collision if the vehicle ahead slows down or stops. It measures 17 x 11.2 x 6.1 cm and weighs 295 grams.
