Xiaomi today has introduced its third-generation under-display smartphone camera technology by a video teaser on Twitter.
Shou Zi Chew, Xiaomi president, reveled this video on Twitter, one can clearly see two Xiaomi handsets, one with punch-hole display and one sporting this new tech.
In the tweet, Chew adds that Xiaomi is ready with this tech and the mass production of this will begin from the next year. So we may expect Xiaomi flagships to feature under-display camera tech by next year.
Xiaomi this year has also made a mark in the smartphone segment with its Mi 10 flagship to celebrate the company’s 10th anniversary. The smartphone is one of the few to feature a 108-megapixel sensor and the world’s first to come with 120x digital zooming. It is also the world’s first mass-produced smartphone to support 120W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
