Vivo Y21s launched in Indonesia with Helio G80 SoC: Know price and specifications

Chinese smartphone maker Vivo has officially launched its latest budget-friendly phone called, Vivo Y21s smartphone in the Indonesian market. The Vivo Y21s arrives as an upgrade to the Vivo Y21 which Vivo had launched in India last month. The smartphone comes with the MediaTek Helio G80 SoC and a triple camera setup at the back.

Vivo Y21s specifications and features:

The Vivo Y21s features a 6.51-inch IPS LCD display that has HD+ (720 x 1,600 pixels) resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate. The device is powered by a MediaTek Helio G80 SoC, coupled with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The internal storage can be expanded further up to 1TB using a microSD card slot. The Vivo Y21s runs Android 11 out of the box with FuntouchOS 11.1 on top.

In terms of video and photography, the Vivo Y21s comes with a triple rear camera setup that includes a 50-megapixel main camera, a 2-megapixel macro camera, and a 2-megapixel depth camera. In the front, the phone has an 8-megapixel selfie camera under a water-drop notch at the top of the display.

Vivo has packed a 5,000mAh battery on the Vivo Y21s that supports 18W fast charging. Connectivity-wise the Vivo Y21s has dual-SIM support, 4G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a USB Type-C port. The phone also has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

Vivo Y21s price and availability:

The Vivo Y21s is priced at IDR 2,799,000 ( Approx Rs 14,400) for the lone 4GB RAM + 128GB storage model. The device comes in Pearl White and Midnight Blue color options. The Vivo Y21s can be purchased in Indonesia from the Shopee website. However, no details regarding the global availability of the device are revealed by Vivo yet.
