Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani’s Jug Jugg Jeeyo to release in June 2022

The makers have finally announced the release date of Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani’s highly anticipated family comedy-drama Jug Jugg Jeeyo. The film is slated to release in theatres on June 24, 2022.

Backed by filmmaker Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, the family comedy-drama also stars Anil Kapoor, Neetu Singh Kapoor, Manish Paul, and Prajakta Koli in pivotal roles. It is directed by Raj Mehta.

Taking to Twitter, Karan Johar unveiled the release date with a teaser video. He wrote, “There’s nothing like family and I always believe – we must celebrate that. The feeling, the emotion…the togetherness! #JugJuggJeeyo is a celebration of FAMILY! Coming to cinemas near you on 24th June, 2022 (sic).”

Meanwhile, on the work front, Varun Dhawan will next be seen in the horror-comedy movie ‘Bhediya’ alongside Kriti Sanon. Directed by Amar Kaushik of Stree fame, the film is set to release in theatres on 14th April 2022. Kiara will be seen alongside Vicky Kaushal and Bhumi Pednekar in ‘Govinda Naam Mera’.
