The cast of Dangal TV thanks the defense officers for their service during 2020

Mumbai: 2020 was indeed a difficult year for all of us. But while we were safe in our homes, our armed forces ensured national safety, day and night. Going beyond their responsibility at our borders, they also ensured a smooth and safe lockdown.

As we celebrate Republic Day, Dangal TV actors are grateful and thankful for the never-ending dedication and sacrifice of our defense forces.

I would like to wish a very happy republic day to the defense forces and to every citizen of the country. Without the help of the defense forces, we couldn’t have managed to sail through these testing times and this is the truth. I respect the defenses from the bottom of my heart and I love the way they look and perform. I love their zest for life and how they think about us before themselves. We are forever grateful to them. I have huge respect for them as they are always away from home, safeguarding the mother-land. They are so dedicated, irrespective of the conditions they safeguard the territory of India. I salute their sacrifice. And I am a very proud citizen of the country.

Manit Joura, Prem Bandhan:

We were all locked in our homes, dodging from the virus but there were people, I’d rather say our angels for us who stayed out there and paved a way to safeguard us from all sorts of problems relating to this virus and also on the borders and whatnot. Who says superhumans don’t exist? They clearly do our defense team. Big time salute to them, they owe tons of respect from us, and they deserve it. Happy Republic Day to each and every defense personnel of our nation. We are here because of you.

Pooja Singh, Aye Mere Humsafar:

Ever since I was a child, I always believed that defense officers are our heroes. If I wasn’t an actor, I wanted to have been a defense/police officer because I wanted to erase all the bad in the world. I played a character where I was a police officer for 8 months and I loved every bit. Usually, when we hear that an officer has done some good work, we didn’t appreciate it much since we didn’t see it. However, during the lockdown, when the whole world was in an unrest state, there were outside and protected us. I would like to thank them from my heart for their commitment, courage, and dedication.

Heena Parmar, Aye Mere Humsafar:

I feel last year has made me learn to value and appreciate the little things in life. I have been able to do that because of defense forces who have been at the forefront especially during the pandemic. We cannot thank them enough for all the sacrifices and contributions during the pandemic. I would like to appreciate the fact that they have been out there every day away from their families and loved ones to protect us. We are forever indebted!

Tina Philip, Aye Mere Humsafar:

“Republic day is one of those days where the feeling of patriotism is the maximum in an Indian. But this time it is much more than that for me. This year I would like to thank our defense officers in the army, navy, and air force who worked non-stop even during the pandemic when the whole world was at home. I don’t think we can ever match their level of dedication and I feel we should all be grateful to them every day and treat them with the respect they deserve. Jai Hind!”

Neelu Vaghela, Aye Mere Humsafar:

Every year, we do wait for this patriotic day but this year we are more eager. We are always thankful for our defense forces and on this day, we wholeheartedly express it to them. But I feel this year 26th January has to be more special as 2020 was a year when man-kind faced a pandemic like never before. And when we all stayed home as we were scared about contracting the virus, the defense officers risked their lives and made sure to increase security and maintain order in the country. And they very beautifully managed the crisis. Hence, I am very grateful for their service and I request them to always stay strong like a shield for us. I will also urge the younger generation to join the army and help strengthen the country. And I wish everyone a very happy republic day.

Utkarsha Naik, Prem Bandhan:

I am an ex-Naval service personnel’s wife. My husband served the country for 15 years. And being in the defenses I learned patriotism more from him than anyone. Also, the Bible teaches us to honor the place God chose us to be born in. So, I love my country and I am so grateful to our defense officers and soldiers all over India. Thank you for being God’s angels for us and for protecting us. God bless you all.
Vaishnavi Macdonald, Aye Mere Humsafar
