Tecno Pova Neo set to launch in India on January 20: Check expected specifications
Last month Tecno launched the Tecno Pova Neo smartphone in Nigeria. The main highlight of the device is its large 6,000mAh battery. Weeks later, the company is now going to release this very same handset in India.
The official Tecno India Twitter account has announced the launching date for the upcoming Tecno Pova Neo. “Mark your calendars and Stay Tuned! #POVANEO coming soon to your nearest stores on 20th Jan’2022,” the company wrote.

Although the company has not revealed any official details about the device, it is expected to feature the same specs as the model sold in Nigeria. In India, the Tecno Pova Neo is rumored to be available in one single variant. Here are the specifications of the Tecno Pova Neo smartphone.

The Pova Neo features a 6.82-inch HD+ LCD display with a (720×1640) pixel resolution. It is a standard 60Hz refresh rate panel that supports a 120Hz touch sampling rate. The handset comes with a waterdrop notch which houses the front camera. Under the hood, the phone will be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G25 processor and run Android 11 with HiOS 7.6 on top.
In terms of camera, Tecno Pova Neo will offer a 13MP dual-rear camera setup along with LED flash. The smartphone also comes equipped with an 8MP shooter for selfies and video calls.
As mentioned, Tecno Pova Neo packs a 6,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. Moreover, there is also a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, a dedicated micro-SD card slot, and a 3.5mm audio jack on the device.
