Suriya starts filming his 42nd film with Siruthai Siva and Devi Sri Prasad

National Award winner actor Suriya’s upcoming film, tentatively titled ‘Suriya 42’ today went on the floor with a formal pooja. The film will be directed by Siruthai Siva. The actor made the announcement on his official Twitter account.

Taking to Twitter, Suriya also shares a photo from the film’s launch. He wrote, “Shoot begins..! Need all your blessings..!! #Suriya42 @directorsiva @ThisIsDSP @StudioGreen2 @UV_Creations (sic).”

Studio Green and UV Creations will be jointly bankrolling this venture. The cast and crew of the film will be announced very soon. Reportedly, ‘Suriya 42’ will be a pan-Indian movie and will be released in 10 languages.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Suriya was last seen in a cameo role in Lokesh Kanagaraj’s ‘Vikram’. He played the role of Rolex as a dreadful drug lord. He will soon begin work on director Vetri Maaran’s ‘Vaadi Vaasal’, which is based on Jallikattu.
