Superstar Rajinikanth’s ‘Thalaivar 169’ is now titled ‘Jailer’
Superstar Rajinikanth's ‘Thalaivar 169', directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, is now ‘Jailer'. The makers, Sun Picture, today (June 17), took to Twitter to share the new title along with a first-look poster in two languages. The poster is a striking one that shows a blood-stained sword hanging down with the help of chains.

Rajinikanth is said to be playing a jail warden in the film titled ‘Jailer'. Shiva Rajkumar is expected to play the antagonist in the movie.
Apart from Shivarajkumar, reports suggest that the likes of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Sivakarthikeyan, Priyanka Arul Mohan, Ramya Krishnan, and Yogi Babu are in talks for important characters.
As per the source report, the shooting of ‘Thalaivar 169' will commence in July, and it's going to be a couple of extended schedules. The major portion of the film will be shot in Chennai. Anirudh Ravichander will be scoring the music for the film.
