Sunny Leone Makes It to Top Of Merit List For Admission of Asutosh College in Kolkata

Bollywood actor Sunny Leone’s name made it to the top of the admission merit list of Asutosh College in Kolkata on Thursday.

According to the report, the actor’s name “mischievously” topped the merit list for admission to an undergraduate program.

Asutosh College was posted on the first merit list for admission to BA (Honours) in English on its website on Thursday. The list had the actor’s name at the top. It was accompanied by application ID 9513008704, roll number- 207777-6666, and the year of passing 2020 from the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education.

Along with the name, a perfect score of 400 in the best four subjects in Class 12 board examinations was mentioned on the list.

A media report quoted an official of the college as saying: “It is an act of mischief as someone deliberately submitted a wrong application having typed Leone’s name.”

“We have asked the admission department to correct it. We will also conduct an inquiry into the incident,” the official said.

Finally, the issue came to the notice of the college authorities.

The college authorities apologized for the unintentional mistake and removed the actor’s name from the merit list.

Earlier, Sunny Leone was rumored on social media when a news anchor said that Sunny Leone, who had joined the BJP, would be replaced by Sunny Leone in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.
