Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple in Kerala to re-open for devotees from August 26

After a long period of coronavirus lockdown, Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple in Kerala’s Thiruvananthapuram will be opened for devotees from August 26.

As per the administration of Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple, the devotees will be allowed to enter the premises from 8 am to 11 am in the morning and 5 pm till the time of Deeparadhana in the evening.

However, devotees will have to register online one day prior to darshan and keep a copy of the registration form & Aadhaar card at the time of the temple visit. In addition, they have to wear masks and washing hands.

The temple has remained closed since 21 March due to the increase in the number of coronavirus cases, but now the temple will open adhering to strict protocols which include booking online darshan through the temple’s website.

Only 35 devotees will be allowed inside the temple at a time and only 665 people will be allowed to enter the temple for darshan in a single day.
