BCCI president Sourav Ganguly has now broken the silence amid speculation that he is joining BJP after meeting the Governor of West Bengal on Sunday.
Sourav Ganguly has now given his first reaction to the question of joining BJP. He was asked if he or any of his family would join the BJP? To this, Ganguly said, “If the governor wants to meet you, you have to meet him. So why don’t we also look at it with such a view.” Just let this matter be here.

Raj Bhavan sources said that it was a ‘courtesy call’ by Ganguly and the governor and it has nothing to do with politics. However, in the wake of the state assembly elections to be held in April-May next year, speculations are being made about Ganguly entering politics.
Regarding meeting Sourav Ganguly, the Governor tweeted, ‘BCCI President Sourav Ganguly had a discussion on various issues at Raj Bhavan at 4:30 pm on Sunday. He accepted his proposal to visit the Eden Gardens, the oldest cricket ground in the country. The Garden of Eden was established in 1864.
