Sony Alpha 1 Mirrorless camera launched in India

Sony has launched its latest full-frame Mirrorless Alpha 1 camera in India. The camera comes at a price of Rs 5,59,990 with promising features.

According to the company, It packs a 50.1-megapixel sensor, 5-axis IBIS, 15-stop dynamic range, fast AF system, and silent shutter. As for videos, the camera is capable of shooting 8K videos at up to 30FPS.

Sony Alpha 1 specifications and features:

Sony Alpha 1 comes with an electronic viewfinder that boasts 9.44 million dots with a refresh rate of up to 240FPS. The viewfinder features an OLED screen. It includes a 50.1-megapixel back-illuminated Exmor RS CMOS sensor. The camera is powered by a Bionz XR processor. Sony’s latest camera can capture 50-megapixel images up to 30FPS without any blackout.

The latest Sony Alpha 1 camera introduces real-time eye AF for humans, birds, and animals using a 759-point phase-detect autofocus system with 92 percent coverage.

For the video recording capabilities, Sony Alpha 1 can shoot 8K videos at up to 30FPS, and 4K videos at up to 120FPS. There are more movie functions included in the camera for filmmakers.

In addition, it also includes a 15-stop dynamic range, 5-axis optical in-body image stabilization, intuitive UI system with touch operation, dust and moisture resistant design, and more.

Sony Alpha 1 price and availability:

The new Sony Alpha 1 full-frame mirrorless camera is priced at Rs 559,990. It will be available from March 12 across all major online platforms and retail stores in the country.
