SBI launched WhatsApp banking service to check account balance and others

India’s largest public lender State Bank of India (SBI) has announced that its customers can now get basic information about their accounts via WhatsApp. The WhatsApp banking services by SBI allow users to check their account balance and view the mini statements.

This announcement was made by the bank recently on Twitter. The caption read, “your bank is now on WhatsApp. Get to know your account balance and view the mini statement on the go.”

Additionally, the State Bank of India also offers WhatsApp-based services to its credit card users under the name of SBI Card WhatsApp connect. This service allows SBI credit card customers to check their account summary, reward points, outstanding balance, make card payments, and more.
