Samsung Thursday launched a new M-series smartphone called Galaxy M12 with a 48MP quad-camera setup and a 90 Hz refresh rate display in the Indian market.

The new Samsung Galaxy M12 comes with a host of interesting features like an 8nm Samsung Exynos 850 processor, up to 6GB of RAM, 6,000mAh battery, and more.

The phone features a 6.5-inch HD+ (720×1,600 pixels) TFT Infinity-V Display with an aspect ratio of 20:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by the Exynos 850 SoC, paired with up to 6GB RAM. Internal storage is listed to be up to 128GB. The phone runs on Android 11-based OneUI 3.1.

Coming to the camera features, the Samsung Galaxy M12 comes with a quad rear camera set up that includes a 48-megapixel primary sensor with f/2.0 aperture, a 5-megapixel secondary ultra-wide sensor with f/2.2 aperture and 123-degree field of view, a 2-megapixel macro sensor, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.

On the front, you will get an 8MP shooter for selfies and video calling with an f/2.2 lens.

In terms of battery, the phone is fuelled by a massive 6,000mAh battery with 15W fast charge technology. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. In addition to this, the handset features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner on board.

Samsung Galaxy M12 price in India is set at Rs 10,999 for the base 4GB RAM+64GB storage variant. The phone’s 6GB RAM+128GB storage option is priced at Rs 13,499. The Samsung Galaxy M12 sale in India will start March 18th via Amazon India, Samsung E-store, and leading retail outlets. The phone is available in Blue, Black, and White color options. ICICI Bank cardholders can avail of a Rs 1000 discount on the purchase of the Galaxy M12.
