Former India captain and one of the greatest batsmen in cricket history, Sachin Tendulkar turns 48 today (April 24). On this special day, former players and fans went to social media to pay tribute to one of the best sportsmen of all time. The Little Master, whose full name is Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar, was born on this day in 1973 in a Maharashtrian family in Dadar, Mumbai.
Tendulkar recently recovered from coronavirus and like last year, won’t be celebrating his birthday looking at the current scenario amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Tendulkar had decided not to celebrate his birthday in 2020 as a mark of respect to the frontline workers leading India’s fight against the virus outbreak.
Here is how fans wished Sachin Tendulkar:

Sachin Tendulkar made his debut aged 16 years against Pakistan and despite a bloodied nose and a few failures, Tendulkar became the greatest batsman since the days of Don Bradman. The God of cricket holds many records during his playing career spanning two decades – 200 Tests, 100 international hundreds, and 34357 international runs.
