Road Safety World Series: Twitter explodes as Sachin Tendulkar is set to return on the field

On Friday, Sachin Tendulkar took to Twitter to express his happiness that he is going to play in the ‘Road Safety World Series’ starting on March 5.

The Road Safety World Series, or RSWS, is a T20 cricket competition organized by the Road Safety Cell of Maharashtra to raise awareness about road safety.

“Stepping on the field for India always gives me goosebumps. Looking forward to playing for our country, and spreading awareness about road safety through the #RoadSafetyWorldSeries,” Tendulkar wrote on Twitter and posted a clip in which he can be seen sweeping and punching off the backfoot with ease.

You can livestream the first match that will see India Legends face off against Bangladesh Legends at 7 pm (IST) today in Raipur. The newly built Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Cricket Stadium in the city.
