Superstar Rajinikanth was admitted to Kauvery Hospital in Chennai on October 28. A Carotid Artery revascularisation procedure has been made on Friday. According to Kauvery hospital, he is recovering well and likely to be discharged from the hospital in a few days. His family has said that it was a routine check-up and that he would be discharged soon.
Doctor Aravindan Selvaraj from Kauvery Hospital has now confirmed that Rajinikanth was advised of Carotid Artery revascularization.

He was thoroughly evaluated by the expert panel of doctors and was advised to undergo Carotid Artery revascularization. The procedure was performed successfully today (29th Oct 2021) and he is recovering well. He is likely to be discharged from the hospital after few days (sic).”

Meanwhile, on the work front, Rajinikanth is looking forward to the release of his film, Annaatthe. Directed by Siruthai Siva, the film is all set to hit the cinemas on November 4, on the occasion of Diwali.
