The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) on Tuesday forecast moderate to heavy rains in the central and eastern parts of the country in the next 3 days.
According to the report, Madhya Pradesh is also likely to receive heavy rains in the next three days, followed by intermittent heavy rains from July 1-4 in Bihar and Vidarbha, and it also across Orissa on July 2-4.
Besides that, isolated heavy to very heavy falls is also likely over East Uttar Pradesh and Sub-Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim on July 2-3.
Subdued rainfall activity over Western Himalayan Region and adjoining northwest India very likely to continue during the next three days and its distribution & intensity very likely to increase thereafter.
