OnePlus is set to launch a new TV in India today, May 24, at 12 pm (noon). The new OnePlus TV 40Y1 is set to become the latest addition to its Y series, following the OnePlus TV 32Y1 and OnePlus TV 43Y1 models, which are already available in India.
OnePlus TV 40Y1 Expected Features and Specs:
The OnePlus TV 40Y1 will feature a 40-inch full-HD (1,920×1,080 pixels) display 93.8 percent screen-to-body ratio and 93 percent coverage of DCI-P3 color space. It will be powered by an unspecified 64-bit processor and run on Android TV 9-based OxygenPlay. The audio will be handled by two speaker units with 20W output and Dolby Audio. The new OnePlus TV will integrate OnePlus Connect as well as Chromecast, Alex, and Google Assistant support. It will also have access to the Google Play Store and comes with preloaded apps such as Prime Video, Netflix, and YouTube.
OnePlus TV 40Y1 Expected Price in India:
The OnePlus TV 40Y1 will launch at 12:00 pm (IST) on May 24. However, there doesn’t seem to be a launch event planned for the launch. The TV will likely go on sale after the launch via OnePlus’ official Indian website and Flipkart. OnePlus has not shared pricing and availability for the OnePlus TV 40Y1. OnePlus TV 32Y1 currently costs Rs. 15,999 while OnePlus TV 43Y1 costs Rs. 26,999. OnePlus TV 40Y1 could be priced somewhere in between.
