Finnish tech giant HMD Global has scheduled a new product launch event for October 6. The company is expected to announce the Nokia G50 5G smartphone and the T20 Android tablet, among other products.

HMD Global has taken to Nokia Mobile’s Twitter handle to post a teaser for the upcoming event. The image shared by Nokia shows a Nokia 3310, Nokia 8110 4G, Nokia 6.2, Nokia X10, and Nokia XR20. Behind these devices, the image shows a white, unbranded retail box that is significantly larger than the rest.

Nokia G50 5G smartphone, Nokia T20 tablet specifications (expected):

The G50 5G is expected to bring a Snapdragon 480 5G chipset paired with a 6.8-inch HD+ display and a 4,850 mAh battery. The phone will reportedly pack a 48MP main camera. Some leaks have also uncovered Nokia branded TWS earphones, suggesting that the Nokia G50 5G will be sold with these bundled together in some markets.

Alongside, the T20 Android tablet will likely bring a 10.36-inch display alongside 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. The chipset at the helm is rumored to be provided by Unisoc though the exact model is not quite specified. The slate will boot Android 11 and will be available in 4G and Wi-Fi-only trims.
