NIT Silchar grabbed 6th position in India and 275th Worldwide in UI GreenMetric 2020
NIT Silchar has announced that their Institution has grabbed the 6th position in India and 275th Worldwide in UI GreenMetric 2020.
According to the Ministry of Education, 922 universities from 84 countries have participated in the rankings.
On the occasion, Union Cabinet Minister for Education, Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal has given congrats to Prof. Sivaji Bandyopadhyay, the director of NIT Silchar, Assam.

According to Wikipedia, the National Institute Of Technology (NIT) Silchar is one of the 31 NITs of India and was established in 1967 as a Regional Engineering College in Silchar, Assam.
