Mrunal Thakur joins with Aditya Roy Kapur in Hindi remake of Tamil blockbuster ‘Thadam’

Bollywood star Mrunal Thakur has joined the cast of the Hindi remake of Tamil blockbuster, ‘Thadam’. The actress will be played in a lead role opposite of Aditya Roy Kapur. Mrunal shared a picture with Aditya today (September 6) and announced her participation in the action thriller.

According to Pinkvilla, Mrunal Thakur is all set to play a female cop in the film that revolves around two lookalikes who are the primary suspects in a murder case.

Sharing a picture with Aditya Roy Kapur, Mrunal wrote, “It’s time for a face-off!! #AdityaRoyKapur are you ready? Super excited to work in the Hindi remake of the Tamil hit, #Thadam, to be directed by #VardhanKetkar. Produced by #BhushanKumar’s @TSeries & @MuradKhetani @Cine1Studios @aseem_arora (sic).”

The title of the Hindi remake of Thadam is yet to be decided. It is produced by Bhushan Kumar and Murad Khetani. Debutant director Vardhan Ketkar will helm the film. The film is slated to go on floors in Delhi in October 2021.

Apart from the Hindi remake of ‘Thadam’, Mrunal also has Jersey opposite Shahid Kapoor. She was recently seen opposite Farhan Akhtar in Toofaan and fans loved her performance in it.
