Maintaining the business continuity says, COO, Microsoft India

Microsoft India Chief Operating Officer Rajiv Sodhi posted on Linked on Thursday that Microsoft helping customers and business is still the priority for Microsoft.

There mentioned that Microsoft has shifted thousands of employees to home and to work remotely. As the Covid-19 pandemic hits, most of the companies to adopt work from home for their employees. Due to those technologies such as virtual collaboration, calling, video conferencing are much needed. Rajiv Sodhi stated on the post, “We understand the difficulties that organizations of different sizes and complexities are facing, as they grapple with the situation. This includes transitioning employees to work from home in the initial days. To support the move, we made Microsoft Teams available free of cost for everyone in early March, including organizations that don’t have Office 365. Leading Indian companies, such as Mahindra & Mahindra, HCL and Zee Group have placed their trust in Teams.”

He also added that Microsoft is also focusing on helping with pharmaceutical companies in this Covid-19 outbreak.
