Mahindra Logistics Alyte launches free emergency cab service in India

Mahindra Logistics has recently launched its emergency cab service Alyte in different cities in India for the COVID-19 pandemic.

Alyte is an enterprise mobility business of Mahindra Logistics and It will provide these services through a dedicated fleet, including Electric vehicles. According to Mahindra Logistics, these services will mainly focus on senior citizens, disabled, expecting mothers, etc. who are unable to secure transport for essential services like shopping essentials & medication, visits to Banks, Post offices and periodic medical visits. As well as, this service will be available for doctors, nurses, and others involved in providing essential services.

Mr. Rampraveen Swaminathan, Managing Director, and CEO, Mahindra Logistics Ltd. said on an interview “During this period, we have found that people are struggling with transport during emergency requirements. This service will help provide a solution with cars that meet all our standards of hygiene, sanitization, and safety. We encourage members of the community to maintain strict social distancing and venture out only when absolutely required.”
